One Terribly Busy Bee

My goodness, have I been busy!
Creating resumes, sending resumes, applying for auditions, sending my information to talent agencies, memorizing lines and memorizing more lines, searching for the perfect show tune to sing at my upcoming auditions, (and normal people stuff consisting of...) homework....
It's incredible what you need to do to be noticed by the theatre world, and how much more you need to do to actually BE in the theatre world, and so far I'm doing whatever I can possibly do to accomplish that.
In fact, I have been accepted into Heyman Talent and CAM Talent. Though, they both said they couldn't fully take me until I had my pictures done and that unfortunately took one whole year to do. But we got them done and we're trying again!
Can you say: “sleep deprivation” because I can’t. I would need more sleep to accomplish a word like “deprivation”. And honestly, it’s not because of home work. My workflow is doing just fine, but you see, my showflow (see what I did there) is not. Oddly enough, to get enough sleep, and to keep in the swing of things, I need to be in a show, and currently I am just in a camp that meets once a week. That does not work with me.
Nope.
I live theatre, I breathe theatre, and now: theatre is my night-light because I need my night-light to sleep. If you think I’ve gone crazy and you’re ready to tell me “It’s psychological”, don’t even bother. If its “psychological”; If it’s some lunatic idea that I created and now I have become an award winning scientist because of it, don’t bother telling me. It’s just what I need, and unfortunately for you and fortunately for me: It’s going to stay that way.
Even if that makes me one busy bee.
Until next time,
Emma.
